It's raining--what is with New England weather? It was snowing last night--early April Fools Day joke? Anyway, I am pretending this early "April Shower" will just pave the way for pretty blooms, green, GREEN grass and tons of sunshine in the upcoming months!
This week my Friday Fancies are inspired by my love of the new spring color CORAL! Good morning! It's raining cats and dogs here in Rhode Island! Can I write a more cliche statement? NO! But that expression is the only way to really communicate how hard it is raining by my house--the not so gentle rain drops and gusting wind woke me up this morning...If you are new to my blog, Fridays are dedicated to the fancy things we wish we could afford but just dream about instead. It is a great little game invented by {av} at {long distance loving}, check out her blog and see what her picks are for today!

I was inspired by the rain this morning (I wonder why...darn RI rainstorms) and thought to myself: "Cassie, what would you want to wear if it was warm and springy...but gently drizzling?" "Well Cassie," I replied, "I would be wearing..."

Hi Guys! So I have so much to do today: gym, homework, pick up my sister in Providence (she's visiting until Sunday and I am so excited). This is just a quick Friday Fancies post (the brilliant idea by the sweetest blogger {av}, at {long distance loving} check it out and play along!)
This is an outfit I would love to be wearing...if I lived in NYC *sigh* (one day though!) I can envision myself wearing this as a high-power magazine editor, dashing out for a little night on the town with my girlfriends after work. It's a bit more sophisticated than what I would usually wear. But this is Friday Fancies gosh darn it and I will pretend I am this glamorous lady! RIGHT. NOW.

So I have never done this "Friday Fancies" thing before, but I am up early and about to get ready for my internship, dreaming about what I would wear if I had billions of dollars leaving me with a wardrobe fit for a....celebrity? socialite? Okay, a wardrobe fit for Cassie Strum...oh hey, that's me! This Friday Fancies game was created by {av} over at the blog {long distance loving} check it out for daily inspiration and romantic stories about her long distance love affair...it's a daily read of mine...and she's a fellow Rhody!

Today my Friday Fancies is inspired by a new resort collection I am completely OBSESSED with...Tucker by Gaby Basora. Tucker had a line for Target a few years back and I wish that I scored some of there notorious patterned pieces...but no, I had not jumped on the Target bandwagon yet, it's a life long haul for me now...I love Target.
Anyway, inspired by Tucker's new designs AND my desperate need to escape the cold, I present you all with my "Destination: Spring Break Vacation Friday Fancies Collection."
