Hi, everyone! It's finally Friday and I am so excited for this upcoming weekend--a Ryan Cabrera concert with my best friend, a trip to RI and Block Island for the 4th? Happiest girl in the world award goes to...Me!

Sandwich thin, spinach leaves, low-fat cheese, cherry tomatoes, veggie meat-less balls, salsa (in substitute for tomato sauce) |
I wanted to thank Sarah at
Feeding Brain and Body for giving me the Amazing Blogger award--love you girl! (PS: Have you tried making her
egguffins? They're yummy in yo' tummy!) I'll get to those bloggy questions later but I wanted to bring up something quick. I got two bugs...the lifting bug and the cooking bug. It was only a matter of time before I caught on to both--I read so many cooking/fitness blogs now that it would be impossible not to. I lifted for the first time yesterday and damn, ladies. I give you all a ton of credit because my upper body is hating on me right now. But I'm going back for some leg action today, is lifting as addicting as I think it is? Also, dabbling in the kitchen, I decided to create a healthy pizza, because I was craving some Italiano :)
On to the amazing blogger questions:
Tagging:
(hopefully you guys haven't been tagged yet!)
Mwahaha! YES. Lifting is definitely addicting ;) I woke up this morning so sore that I could barely move, but I'm still looking forward to kicking some butt in the weight room.
ReplyDeleteAnd there's definitely nothing better than cooking oats in the morning. Speaking of which... I gotta go make sure mine aren't burning! Love you girlie! Have an awesome day :D
Oh wow your weekend sounds awesome! Have so much fun :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh I totally forgot about Reggie Rocket! I used to love that show! haha!

ReplyDeleteOhh, thank you for tagging me! Awesome. And Rocket Power! I'd forgotten all about that show. I miss old Nick shows :(
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm obsessed with lifting, glad you got the bug too :D It IS addictive, and then some. But it's a good addiction, right??
Your weekend sounds amazing, can't wait to hear all about it.
Awesome- I was just reading another blog with this award and I commented that it was one of the more fun ones- thanks for the tag! What kind of meatballs are those? I get these eggplant ones that I LOVE made by dominex!
ReplyDeleteI use salsa as a tomato sauce substitute all the time! I loved the mighty ducks when I was younger, I remember it used to always play on the disney channel! Just last week I was walking the dog and someone had put a box of books on there front yard saying "Free" so I tool Summer Sisters by Judy Blume! I hadn't heard of it before, but I'm super glad I picked it up now that you said you liked it :)
